The first Boot Camp of the DEEP-linking Youth project took place in Budapest (Hungary) on 15-16 July 2016 and was organised by the Civil College Foundation. The aim of the Boot Camp was to train young people in creating digital content to influence decision-making processes and to actively propose possible improvements to the learning mobility programmes.

  • In the first part of the Boot Camp the participants shared their views on youth mobility, the learning mobility experiences and the Erasmus programme. Hungarian and European experts in the field of digital democracy conducted different workshops to discuss about e-democracy experiences and how young people can use technology to reach out to decision-makers.
  • In the second part, the participants learned how to create appealing digital content, mainly videos, to voice their opinions on learning mobility programmes to policy-makers.
  • Finally, in the third part everybody was given the opportunity to present their digital content on youth mobility and receive feedback from the experts on their creations.
